A Wild Camp on Kinder Scout with my daughter. We parked the car in Hope and set off along the roman road towards Hope Cross, we then headed up to Crookstone Knoll on Kinder Scout for a relaxing night enjoying the views. We had a great night and the sunrise in the morning was amazing even if though it was a little cloudy. I was using a Wild Country Zephyros 1 Lite and my daughter had my standard Wild Country Zephyros 1.
Nice video report again Dean,some cracking views as well.Looks like you both had a good trip.
Going to try and squeeze a wild camp in,when I’ve finished working my weekends in a few weeks.

It was an excellent little trip, my daughter really enjoyed it thankfully. We’ll be going again soon I bet, I’m working weekends for the next month or so which means it won’t be for a while. Thanks for commenting

Wonderful video. I managed to wild camp with my son on Dartmoor last summer and it was a great little trip, see pic. Went with a mate as well and we had the ‘best quality’ £20 hotukdeals Argos tents money can buy. Need to plan at least one this year.
How was the drive to Glastonbury? I was stewarding at the Circus tent and had an excellent weekend. Weather was near perfect. And I was in the same field as your girlfriend watching the Stones – small world. Well actually 1 in about 100,000 isn’t that small 😉
I would be interested in knowing what food treat you provided for your daughter for dinner and breakfast?

I’m so jealous Re: Glastonbury, my girlfriend had an amazing time and I wish I had been there too 🙂 all being well I’d like to go next year.
As for camping treats. Daughter was happy with the Heinz Pepperoni pasta sachets which I warned up on the stove. For breakfast she had more pasta 🙂 she is pretty easy going really.
I’m loving the GoPro, it’s an excellent bit of kit. I’m hoping to do more timelapse again next time I go out…. Hope you manage to get out again soon.
