Cairngorms – Horse Riding – Newtonmore

This video sees us Horse Riding in the Cairngorms during our holiday there, we went to the Newtonmore Riding Centre and had a great time riding up and over the surrounding hills. The hack took us along the Glen from Newtonmore where we cantered through lush green fields, we then began climbing up the hills through some excellent rocky terrain which our horses handled with ease. I was very surprised at how well they could handle the rocks, I must admit I rode with caution at first until I realised it was a breeze for them. As a hill walker, getting the chance to ride up hill was like a dream come true… So we have done hills, we have done beach… I’d like to ride in the old west now 🙂
