Yorkshire Dales – Gordale Scar Scramble & Malham Cove

Today’s walk was in the picturesque Yorkshire Dales National Park and we began the day at Malham after driving up from Derbyshire at 6am. We firstly headed for Janet’s Foss which is a small but splendid looking waterfall, we then walked further to the absolutely spectacular Gordale Scar where we had a great scramble up the chain of waterfalls. We then headed north to Malham Tarn where we stopped for lunch before walking back down to Malham Cove. It was a fantastic walk and we topped it off by having food and drinks at the Bucks Inn in Malham.
