In this video we head to Cumbria to stay at Easegill Head Farm in Kirkby Stephen, it was the end of March 2017 and Lambing Time was in full swing. The Marston family were featured in the BBC 1 series Lambing Live in 2011 and they now have a holiday cottage that guests can stay in, while there we got to experience what it’s like to live and work on a hill farm.
It had been a dream of Lisa’s to help out at Lambing time and it was great to be able to get hands on during our stay. We helped birth numerous lambs and it was an experience we’ll never forget.
The first set of Lamb’s that Lisa helped into the world were named Dean & Lisa :-).
The accommodation during our stay was fantastic, an old converted barn finished to a very high standard.
