In this video we take on the notorious Montane Cheviot Goat which is a 57 mile, 24 hour race with 4,000 metres of ascent. It takes place in the Northumberland National Park and dips in to Scotland briefly before climbing back up to the summit of the Cheviot, the highest peak in the national park at 815 metres. Also, did I mention the bogs? and the pathless terrain? It all combines to make it a brutal event that we’ve been wanting to do for a while. Sunshine, smiles, bogs and blizzards sums up this experience. We didn’t quite get all the way around this time but we’ll be back, we have a score to settle now.
